MCPE - Populated Survival Custom Map

 

Welcome to my Survivor Custom Map. This is a MCPE 1.1+ Survival map that I added a lot of structures and perfected the already existing ones while trying to keep the smallest file possible.

Basically, I teleported from place to place building structures. Most of these structures are notable (not a small shack or something like that) and usually have a chest with rare items.

I also improved some structures that generated originally, like villages.

Since I did not load too many chunks around each location (there is only around 3 chunks pre-loaded around each location), terrain generation will fill these, possibly with new additions on future versions of MCPE. It can also cause some locations to be out-of-terrain if the terrain generator changes too much, which would actually be fun. This means that Ocean Monuments, Temples and other structures might be generated in between the current area map, which spawns a 4000x4000 area (-2000 to 2000), although there are some rare structures outside (Area 22 and Ocean Monument)

You will spawn near 0x0 (-60 z 10) with a building that will allow you to teleport to one of 5 big starting points (The teleport is one-way only), these are marked with bold on the list below. When you access your nether chest, 7 maps will show some areas that you can try to reach (in these 7, the 5 starting points) - Note these maps are also on the spawn area.

I was going to add random mini structures around but since ravines are upcoming on 1.2 (as of this post), I didn't want to generate more terrain than what I already did. If I ever venture into making another one of these I will wait 1.2 so ravines are included.

Here is the current list of locations built and where. To have fun, do not take note of the coordinates and try to find them on your own. The map loads with you with nothing (like a survival map) but in a spawn area that will help you to get set to explore as soon as possible. This would also be a fun multiplayer game.

  • Area 1 - Small houses. Beware a deadly trap [202 69 -1]

  • Area 4 - Pyramid, complete with traps, tomb and secrets. Beware lethal lava traps. [811 90 218]

  • Area 8 - Old wall fortification on Mesa [-1240 87 630]
  • Area 9 - Round hole to the bedrock [-841 66 817]
  • Area 10 - Jungle Temple Complex (beware small traps) [-467 78 -1096]
  • Area 11 - Luxurious Mansions [-140 69 -603]
  • Area 12 - Deep underwater Tower [897 66 -950]
  • Area 13 - Clay houses (w/ villagers) [555 69 -529]
